# Audio guidance, text to speech in Hungarian

Hello,
We are checking if it is possible to implement Audio Guidance (screen reader) for our application that is mainly in Hungarian. We searched official documentation and asked in seller 1:1, but were redirected to developer forum.
We would like to know whether Hungarian (Magyar) is supported by the TV’s Audio Guidance feature.
On our test devices, Audio Guidance reads the TV UI correctly when the TV language is set to English. However, when we change the TV system language to Hungarian using the TV Settings menu, Audio Guidance no longer reads any UI text.
Could you please clarify:
Is Hungarian supported by the built-in Audio Guidance feature of webOS TVs?
If support depends on the TV model, webOS version, firmware, or sales region, could you please specify which models or regions support Hungarian?
We are asking because our application is primarily in Hungarian, and we would like to understand whether users of LG TVs can use Audio Guidance with Hungarian before implementing additional audio guidance features in our application.

Sorry for the late reply. All webOS TV models support the same 30 languages, and Hungarian is not currently supported. Thank you.

As far as I know, Hungarian is **not supported** by the built-in Audio Guidance (TTS) on most webOS TVs. Audio Guidance depends on the TV’s internal TTS engine, so if there’s no Hungarian voice available, it won’t read the UI.
I don’t believe LG has published a list of supported languages by model, webOS version, or region. It would be helpful if the LG team could confirm whether Hungarian is supported on any models or if there are plans to add it.

As mentioned above, All webOS TV models support the same 30 languages, and Hungarian is not currently supported. Thank you.
