# Deactivate screen saber on Smart TVs

Disable screen saver on Smart TVs, because I need it to be on all the time

Currently, no APIs for disabling the screen saver from an app is provided. For users, there is a screen saver on/off in Settings \> General, but this option is only available if the TV is not an OLED TV and webOS 5.0 or lower. Without this option, the screen saver always works except while playing a video in full screen. Thank you.
