# Is it possible to convert my andriod app (apk) to LG app?

The webOS TV app is web-based. (See [Web Engine](https://webostv.developer.lge.com/develop/specifications/web-engine).) If you can run your app on a web browser, you can also run it on the webOS TV. Thank you.

From what I understand all apps run inside a web engine (or think of it as a chrome browser). It would be similar to attempting to run an android app inside chrome, which is not possible…

Also, I haven’t had any helpful responses to any of my questions. It feels like people here don’t have much knowledge of the system.
