# Issue in Playing hls videos in LG TVs

Hello Team,

We are currently developing an OTT app for LG webOS TV using HTML/CSS Javascript and have integrated the Shaka Player to play .m3u8 videos. However, we are encountering the following error:

**“Error on loading Player… The content container or codec are not supported by this browser.”**

Here is the video URL we are using:

This URL works across all TV browsers and Our Android & Amazon OTT App except on **LG webOS browsers**.

Could you please provide a solution or workaround to successfully play .m3u8 videos on LG webOS 2.0 to latest WebOs version TV’s ?

We cannot check 3rd party player issues. For questions about Shaka Player, please contact Shaka Player support. For the native player, EXT-X-INDEPENDENT-SEGMENTS tag is not supported.
