Hi,

I started playing around with webOS development, so I have no real experience with it.
I created a basic web app from template and included pixi.js library to display a simple sprite on screen.

On both simulator 6 and 22 the app works just fine, but when I install it on TV, the sprite doesn’t appear.

Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Thanks!

The webOS TV uses different web engines depending on the webOS version. See [Web Engine](https://webostv.developer.lge.com/develop/specifications/web-engine).
So please check the scope of support for the web API that you want to use based on the web engine information first. Thank you.

Thank you for your answer!

I have almost no experience with webOS or even web development, but I thought that the whole point of the simulator was to be able to develop your app locally and then everything should work fine on TV itself.

Am I missing something?

What version of webOS TV are you using?
