# Prevent screen from going idel while browser is open

Hello,

we have developed a web app that runs on browser and it’s working well on lg browser. but the issue is that lg monitor puts the screen idel mode after 40min of inactivity even the screen saver is disabled and the standby option as well.

so i’m looking for a way to six this issue with custom app that we develop can install and will run in background and fire click or any way to prevent screen from going to idel and browser will keep open infinitly.

would you please help ?

Currently, no API is provided for this. Please check if you have turned off the Energy Saving option in the Settings menu. Thank you.

I did that and still the same issue. Even i used Hosted web app to run my web app and stilling the same issue. Its urgent how can i fix this issue. I need to keep my web app runing basically its kind of dashboard
