# Will there ever be a video calling app like skype or zoom in WebOS app store?

I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to install **Skype** using a USB but it seems we can not download 3rd party app(side loading)? Is there any plan for LG to support Skype or any other app like **zoom** to be installed from the WebOS app store? Currently there is no way to do video calls from the TV itself without screen sharing or casting. TVs obliviously have the processing capabilities and a simple external camera via HDMI or USB post should be enough to get video and audio inputs for video calls. Its unfortunate that LG does not support any apps and hopefully they will in the future.

I tried looking into the platform’s SDK, and it doesn’t support camera input in a way that would make proper video calls work, so it’s probably a technical limitation for now.
