Inquiry Regarding WebRTC Support on webOS TV

Hello,

I am writing to inquire about WebRTC support on webOS TV.

Currently, we are planning to develop an application that will run on LG Smart TVs. The proposed structure is as follows:

  • A: Android app or Web app

  • B: LG Smart TV Web app (on webOS)

We would like to use WebRTC to stream video and audio from App A to App B running on LG webOS.

App B will only be responsible for receiving and playing back the video and audio streams sent via WebRTC from App A.

It will not request or use any camera or microphone on the TV side.

In this regard, we would like to ask the following questions:

  1. Is it possible to develop an application on LG webOS TV that uses WebRTC in the manner described above?

  2. If it is possible, from which webOS version is WebRTC supported, and which WebRTC version(s) are supported?
