According to the docs for the SDK/API, getting the MAC address is no longer supported and we should rather use LGUID, and that is fine.
My question is how all of these apps that I dowbload can access and show my MAC address when it’s supposedly not supported? Surely if it was not supported, it would not work (I even have a 2023 TV). How do they achieve this?
