Public playback timing API for webOS TV22 / LG43UQ7050PSA

We are developing a packaged web app for LG43UQ7050PSA, webOS 7.6.0 / TV22, firmware 04.60.85, using standard Developer Mode.

With native HLS playback, our short running trace observed HTMLMediaElement.currentTime changing in approximately 196–206 ms steps. requestVideoFrameCallback is unavailable on this device. These observations do not establish a maximum position age.

Is there a supported public API that provides:

  • A playback/frame presentation timestamp with documented mapping to the media content timeline.
  • A monotonic timestamp of the actual position measurement, rather than callback delivery time, or a documented maximum age/cache delay.
  • The clock domain, relevant timing uncertainty, and required application permissions.

Please identify the reported pipeline stage: playback clock, decoded frame, composition submission, or estimated display presentation. We measure physical screen/audio synchronization separately and do not treat a decoded timestamp as photon timing.

Does the supported MSE path on this specific platform expose any different documented timing information from native HLS?

We need an interface available to ordinary third-party applications without root, private/partner-only APIs, or elevated privileges. If no such interface is supported, please confirm that limitation.
