WebOS bug reporting

I have encountered a bug within the WebOS and can not find a bug report page at the LG site.

I realize that this might not be the right place to post about this but i got directed here from the LG support site. I am hoping that someone has the ability to forward a bug report or direct me to the right place.

There has been a problem for a while with the Mediaplayer app, it does not automaticly update the browsed folders (maps and files from a NAS or other WiFi connected device). It can be serveral days before the Mediaplayer app updates. There has never been a way to manually update the folder eather. The fix for this has been to turn off “QuickStart+” for the TV, then the Mediaplayer app updates the browsed folder on TV/app start.

With the latest OS update (webOS25 / 10.2.2-57) that came earlier this month turning off “QuickStart+” will reset the external audio setting. So when I start the TV my soundbar will not start and the “standard” setting wich is TVs internal speaker i used. I can offcourse manually change the setting each time i start the TV to use the soundbar.

The current state is to choose between no update on newer files in the browsed folder in the mediaplayer app or manually turn on the soundbar via settings on LG TV each start. Both very annoying..

The easy bug fix for this would be to rollback to the same settings/code containing the issue from the previous webOS version but the best fix would be to fix the mediaplayer app to automaticly update the “browsed folder” each app start with “QuickStart+” on.
