Flutter webOS SDK – Early Access Request (Retail Logic – Digital Signage Platform)

Hello LG webOS team,

We at Retail Logic would like to formally request early access to the Flutter webOS SDK beta. We are planning to port the Retail Logic player to run natively on LG webOS TVs using Flutter.

About Retail Logic

Retail Logic is a SaaS digital signage and retail media platform, in production for approximately two years and deployed across retail environments in Brazil. The platform handles content distribution, scheduling, video playback, retail media campaigns, and remote orchestration across networks of in-store displays.

Our current architecture relies on external Android-based media players connected to commercial displays — which is exactly the friction point that motivates this request. The player is the most critical and most fragile component of the stack.

Why Flutter on webOS

Moving the Retail Logic player to native Flutter on webOS would let us:

  • Ship a single Flutter codebase across our management app and the in-store TV player.
  • Eliminate external player hardware in deployments using LG commercial displays, reducing CAPEX and physical install complexity for our retail clients.
  • Improve video rendering performance and reliability compared to our current web-based player, which we have identified as a key pain point.
  • Leverage Flutter’s offline-first storage primitives to address content propagation delays and playback resilience on the unstable retail networks we frequently encounter.

Engineering team

Retail Logic is developed and operated by dotNova (https://dotnova.io), a Brazilian software house based in São Paulo. The team behind Retail Logic has deep Flutter expertise and currently maintains multiple Flutter applications in production.

What we can offer as a beta participant

  • Structured feedback, bug reports, and performance benchmarks against real digital signage workloads.
  • Long-term commitment — digital signage deployments run on multi-year cycles.
  • NDA-ready.
  • Public case study once the SDK reaches GA, if useful for LG developer relations.

We would deeply appreciate the opportunity to participate and help validate the SDK against a real-world commercial signage use case.

Best regards,
**
