Request for Early Access to LG Flutter SDK for WebOS TV App Development

We are planning to develop a Flutter-based TV application for LG webOS using the LG Flutter SDK. To proceed with our development roadmap, we kindly request early access to the LG Flutter SDK at the earliest opportunity. Please let us know the process and requirements for obtaining early access.

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could share the updated release timeline for the LG Flutter SDK for the wider developer community, as an earlier communication mentioned a planned release in Q1 2026. We would also like to understand whether applications developed using the Beta SDK can be submitted to the LG TV Store, and if so, any associated restrictions or guidelines.

Sorry for the late reply. A specific release date has not yet been set, but it is expected to be released in the first half of this year. If there are any updates, we will let you know via this developer website. Thank you.

The Flutter team announced in their latest stable release (March 20, 2026) that the LG SDK for Flutter will be released in the coming weeks. I can’t wait to try it!

LG is on the verge of launching the webOS SDK to help developers easily build Flutter apps that target WebOS devices, empowering Flutter for the big screen and beyond.

The webOS SDK will include plugin support for Firebase, video players, gamepads, and more. It’ll even come with support for all of the Flutter features that you know and love, like stateful hot reload and state management with Riverpod.

Keep an eye out for this exciting launch in the coming weeks!
