Guide button not passed to the app

We observe that the Guide button is not delivered to our app. The built-in LG Guide is opened instead.

Could you please clarify if:

  1. This behavior is universal across all webOS TVs?
  2. Or it depends on the TV/remote control model and Guide button may be delivered to the app?

Some remote keys work only with webOS TV. The webOS TV app supports only the keycodes listed in the Magic Remote. Please use only those keycodes. Thank you.
