How to redirect users opening a website to corresponding app installed on WebOS tv

Hi,

Our client has published a new app in WebOS app store and wants all its users who were previously using the tv browser to browse their site to be all redirected to the new app.

Example:

  1. User opens the browser and types www://client.com (say youtube.com)
  2. If the correspoding client app (i.e. youtube) is not installed then user should be redirected to the WebOS app store which now lists the client app.
  3. If the app is already installed on tv, then the user is redirected to the already installed app.

Please let us know if this is possible and if so kindly direct us to the relevant documentation.

Currently, no API to link to a specific app install page in the store is provided. Sorry for not being helpful.
