Is a Custom Exit Popup Allowed on webOS TV 5.0 or lower?

Hello!

I’m wondering if it is allowed to implement a custom exit popup on webOS TV 5.0 or lower instead of immediately launching the Home launcher (provided disableBackHistoryAPI is set to true). Would such an implementation cause any issues during LG QA testing after an app submission?

According to the documentation at https://webostv.developer.lge.com/develop/guides/back-button:

When a user presses the Back button on the Magic Remote, your app should do one of the following:
• If the current page is the entry page to your app:
– On webOS TV 5.0 or lower, launch the Home launcher.

I assume this refers to the webOS.platformBack() behavior. However, since window.close() also exits the app, it seems possible to use it to implement a custom popup on webOS TV 5.0 or lower. I haven’t found anything specific in the QA self-checklist that explicitly prohibits this.

Thank you, any clarification would be greatly appreciated!
