Some Models Can't Play H265 Video Encoded by AMD GPU

I have noticed some issues playing H265 video on some models.

For the following 2 sample videos:

They can be played by some models, and by computer.

However on following models, they can’t be played, not in developed app, or media player app.

  • UP7500
  • UQ8000
  • UR8100

On UP7590 with older firmware (03.36.35), it plays, but not after 03.40.70.

After checking the docs, I noticed webOS supports up to L5.1, while the video has L6.2.

This might be the reason, I’ll give you some updates.
