Unable to Install Developer Mode App on LG UP7500PVG (webOS 6.4.0-22)

I’m experiencing an issue while trying to install the Developer Mode app on my LG Smart TV (model: UP7500PVG, webOS version: 6.4.0-22).

Here’s what happens:

  1. I locate the Developer Mode app in the LG Content Store.
  2. When I click “Install,” the app begins to download.
  3. After about a minute, the process fails with the message: “Cannot install. Try again.”

What I’ve Tried:

  • Confirmed there is sufficient internal storage available.
  • Verified my internet connection (strong and stable Wi-Fi signal).
  • Restarted the TV multiple times.
  • Checked for firmware updates (my TV is already on the latest version).

Despite these steps, I still can’t get the app to install.

  • Has anyone else encountered this issue with the Developer Mode app?
  • Are there any known workarounds or solutions to fix this problem?
