Is there or is there not a HTTP REST API for webOS? Just trying to establish this fact. See lots of references to commands via Google that appear to use a HTTP REST API but are no longer valid?

See lots of examples of python or even JavaScript API integration, but just about every other TV, Projector, etc., has a HTTP(S) REST API methodology… but not LG?

webOS TV apps are web-based. It’s not much different from general web app development. You can use standard web APIs in your app, so we only provide APIs for webOS TV. Thank you.
