Launch splash screen on developing app

Hi.

After I run my app on TV the splash screen is stays there around 10-12 seconds on webos 7.1.0-36, on the older tv version that’s not happen. Anyone know why is take so long the splash screen ? Even with a ‘hello world’ test app the splash screen stays 10-12 seconds. When I open official apps (netflix, etc) is take around one second to open.

The specifications of the premium app service can differ depending on the contract with LG. So we cannot compare the time with premium apps.
To check if there is a problem with the splash display time, please email us the following at developer@lge.com:

  • TV model name: (You can check this in the Settings > General > About This TV.)
  • TV software version:
  • webOS TV version: (This can be found when you click the TV model name in the About This TV menu.)
  • Region:
  • Your test project as a .zip file with password.
  • A video file showing the problem.
